Tango fasziniert mich immer wieder aufs Neue. Ich male ihn seit einigen Jahren und versuche durch meine Gemälde etwas vom Geheimnis des Tango Argentino einzufangen. Viele basieren auf Fotografien, die ich auf Milongas aufnehme. Andere sind durch Fotografien im Internet inspiriert. Die ersten Arbeiten waren noch in Farbe. Manche Motive tauchen immer wieder in leichten Variationen auf.
Tango fascinates me again and again. I paint him for a some years and try to capture through my paintings something of the mystery of Tango Argentino. Many are based on photographs I take at milongas. Others are inspired by photographs on the internet. The first works were still in color. Some motifs appear again and again in slight variations.
