Die Serie Tango nimmt hier eine Sonderstellung ein. Denn er spiegelt in seiner Vielfalt ein weites Spektrum möglicher Gefühle. Andererseits ist der Tango für mich ein positives Beziehungsmodell: Ein guter Tango gelingt nur, wenn ich mich auf mein Gegenüber (meine TanzpartnerIn) einlasse, Ihn oder Sie spüre und akzeptiere. Meine Bilder beobachten den Tango und vor allem die Menschen im Tango. Sie versuchen etwas von dieser besonderen Art der Begegnung im Tango sichtbar zu machen.
The Tango series is special. Because in its diversity, tango reflects a broad spectrum of possible feelings. On the other hand, the tango is a positive relationship model for me: a good tango only succeeds if I engage with my counterpart (my dance partner), feel him or her and accept them. My paintings observe the tango and above all the people in the tango. They try to make something of this special kind of encounter in tango visible.
